Mudgee Show
Young Woman Competition
Previously known as the Showgirl Competition, The Land Sydney Royal AgShows NSW Young Woman competition aims to find a young woman to act as an ambassador for rural NSW.
Entrants must be aged between 18 and 25 years; a permanent resident of Australia and have lived, worked or studied in NSW for at least three months before entering the Young Woman competition.
The competition encourages the participation and subsequent awareness of rural women’s contribution and involvement in both local communities and rural NSW. Young Woman entrants should have a genuine interest in, and knowledge of, rural NSW.
In entering the competition, the participants meet other young women with similar interests and gain beneficial knowledge, and invaluable experience as well as grow both personally and professionally. The entrants at each level of the competition are exposed to personal development and networking opportunities, not to mention some great prizes.
